Loving Freely Sermon

“Thank you for sharing your gift with Unity Worship Church. Loving freely is a much needed message for the body as well as the world today. You are a very impactful communicator, fluid in navigating culture and social boundaries. Loving Freely is an important, cross generational gift that can minister effectively to the young and old. It is a much needed message and resource for the body of Christ as so many struggle with expressing love from an authentic place and Loving Freely becomes the missing element as it were, to inform and equip us for interdependent service.”

"For those of us who are in ministry and who are living life in general, we can often get overwhelmed with circumstances, situations, issues and the every day cares of this life. Although our desire is to serve, help, and love on others, we seek love and acceptance from others as well. We serve those who are broken, and we are often broken ourselves. Loving Freely helped us to recognize that we should acknowledge our brokenness and the things that our heart cries out for...(affirmation, love, acceptance, security…and more). If we would be honest with ourselves, and learn to be vulnerable with one another, Christ can fulfill and heal those broken places in our life. The freer we are, the more freely we can give to others. The Loving freely training takes you through a personal evaluation of what inward battles we may have because of past hurts, upbringing, shame, codependency’s, and lies that the enemy had told us over the years. This training reminds us of who we are IN Christ, and gives us tools to enhance our interdependency relationships with others, and more importantly, shares principles to enhance our personal walk with Christ. Our SCM team has really benefited from this training!"
